Privacy notice

How MedRigor Research handles information submitted through the project-assessment form.

Operational draft requiring legal review. This notice describes the current pilot workflow transparently but is not a substitute for advice from a qualified privacy professional in each relevant jurisdiction.

Information collected

The assessment form collects contact name, email address, country or region, research field, study design, requested service, project stage, a non-confidential description, and optional journal, word-count, and desired-date details. It also records a generated reference, consent version, and submission timestamp.

Information you must not submit

Do not submit patient or participant identifiers, protected health information, clinical records, manuscripts, unpublished datasets, code, confidential results, credentials, payment details, or other sensitive material through the public form. It has no file-upload facility.

Purposes

Storage, access, and hosting

Inquiry data is stored in a restricted Cloudflare D1 database connected to this website. Access is limited to authorized administration of the pilot. Cloudflare may process technical data needed to deliver and secure the service under its own terms and privacy documentation.

Email correspondence and attachments

Customer correspondence and approved project files sent to veodeep@gmail.com are processed through Google Gmail and are separate from the website's D1 inquiry database. Email ordinary research documents only after initial screening. Do not email patient or participant identifiers, protected health information, clinical records, credentials, payment details, or other highly sensitive material. A more appropriate transfer method must be agreed separately if a project requires enhanced protection.

Retention

New inquiries are assigned a proposed deletion date twelve months after submission. Accepted projects may require a different contractual or legally required retention period. Retention remains subject to legal review and an approved operating schedule.

International access

The service is available internationally. Hosting and service providers may process information in jurisdictions different from yours. Appropriate transfer safeguards and jurisdiction-specific disclosures must be reviewed as the pilot expands.

Your requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete inquiry information or withdraw consent where consent is the applicable basis. Email veodeep@gmail.com, provide your inquiry reference where available, and state “Privacy request” without adding sensitive information.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the service, legal structure, contact channels, or international scope develops. The consent-version date stored with new inquiries is 19 August 2026.
